That day I was in the Zattere near the headquarters of the Academy of Fine Arts. I was walking enjoying a fantastic spring sun in the company of my inseparable Nikon.
I really like to walk in this part of Venice. You never find too many people and you can hear the sound of water like nowhere else.
We used to hang out here often with the usual group of friends playing guitar, drinking countless beers and trying to steal a few kisses from the girls who stopped to listen to our music. Good times long gone.
This photo of the Chiesa del Redentore was taken right there, in those places so dear to me in the present and in the past.
